The process described in this deck is EFO’s Retained Search. Based on the strong retention rates of our placed candidates, we believe this vetting process has proven to be the most effective. The Retained Search tests the candidate’s ability to remain patient throughout a longer-than-normal interview timeline, and it allows us to evaluate their formal and informal communication styles. We also advise on candidate compensation packages and guarantee the placement for six months. The commission fees are calculated using a standard percentage model of 30% of the first year’s total compensation. The commission is broken down as follows:
1/3 of the fee is due upon a fully executed contract, non-refundable.
The second 1/3 is paid when clients are presented with the first selection of qualified candidates, nonrefundable.
The remaining 1/3 is due on the candidate's first day of employment.
Referral Search option is our version of a contingency search. While we offer this service, we do not think it allows for the detailed vetting that our Retained Search provides. Therefore, we do not guarantee placements under this contract. The cost of a Referral Search is broken down as follows:
A $2,500 administrative fee is paid to view candidate offerings
If a candidate is hired, 15% of the candidate's total compensation is charged for the placement
